On Women's Equality Day, Joanna Sackel, assistant professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, hosted her class's second panel discussion on the history and future of women in sports. Panelists included Kathy Kroupa, athletics director in Athletics; Kristen Migliano, associate professor in the College of Business and Management; and alumni Mackenzie McFarland '25, who joined via Zoom while coaching at the US Open. 

Their discussion reflected women's achievements in athletics while also underscoring the challenges that remain.
