Dean Cesar Santalo of the College of Communication and Design, Barbara Cambia, executive director for Career and Alumni Connections and Martin Phillips, associate professor of multimedia journalism in the College of Communication and Design, were awarded the Key to the City of Boca Raton by Mayor Scott Singer at the Mizner Amphitheater. 

This prestigious honor recognizes his contributions to education, leadership and civic engagement. As an educator, artist and advocate for student success, Santalo has helped shape innovative academic programs and build strong community connections in and out of the classroom.
