The Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award was chosen by the students and given to the faculty member who best exemplifies excellence in teaching. Started in 1986. After 2018, the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award and Faculty Member of the Year Award became the Award for Excellence in Teaching and Dedication to Students.
