Description
This article analyzes UN Women’s social media activity on the primary social media platforms: Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn. The focus of the analysis pertains to the conflict-related sexual violence (CRSV) experienced by Israeli women. The investigation spans several months, commencing immediately after October 7, 2023. Additionally, the study compares UN Women’s social media activity with respect to CRSV endured by women from Nigeria, Bangladesh, and Gaza to highlight disparities in the organization’s public response.
