Abstract

One of the best ways to learn about leadership is by studying history’s greatest leaders. Let’s add to that the study of the greatest decisions. This lecture, based on interviews with the nation’s leading historians, analyzes the greatest decisions in the history of the presidency, looking for the keys to decision-making and leadership. These decisions not only had far-reaching impacts on the country but provide us with a helpful lens for understanding the president's character, decision-making processes, and values. Join Dr. Robert Watson to dissect these decisions with the goal of coming up with keys to greatness and avoiding failure as well as some important historical lessons.
