Abstract
This poster presentation explores the persistent issue of systemic abuse in women's soccer, a growing concern in recent years. Through an extensive review of the Sally Q. Yates’ report, published October 3, 2022, and additional case analyses, we aim to assess the scope and impact of this problem. We will examine historical cases of abuse and review responses from governing bodies to identify patterns of mistreatment and evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies. Our goal is to offer recommendations to improve the safety and well-being of female soccer athletes.
