Abstract

Dr. Roberta Rust, piano professor at the Lynn University Conservatory of Music, gave a lecture performance titled Einstein’s “Beloved Piano-Witch”: Harriet Cohen, hosted by the Adolph & Rose Levis Jewish Community Center/Phyllis & Harvey Sandler Center in Boca Raton, FL on Jan. 16, 2025.

The narrative piano recital was about British pianist Harriet Cohen (1890-1967) and featured performances of music she championed, including composers JS Bach, deFalla, Arnold Bax and Bela Bartok, among others.
