Abstract

This supplemental reading to Feminism: Ideas, Beliefs & Movements presents four cases studies that prompt consideration of topics including the history, sociology, philosophy, and legal aspects of feminism through a contemporary filter. Each of the seven authors have contributed in-depth examinations of the following subjects: women in the workplace; New Zealand’s former Prime Minister, Jacinda Arden; gender bias in science, and the attempts to reconstruct Caribbeanness.
