Research output: Book/ReportLynn University Digital Press Publication

Abstract

Global Human Rights: An Annotated Reader offers a commentary on critical international human rights agreements beginning with the Universal Declaration on Human Rights. Organized in chronological order, each chapter places the document in historical context and reviews key elements of it. Further, taken as a whole, the book provides an analysis of the relationships between various international human rights as well as the interplay between the documents. Not intended to be exhaustive, the collection of documents and commentaries introduces the reader to foundational global human rights while exploring issues of definitions, compliance, and enforcement.
