Abstract

The Research Methods interactive book was written for students at Lynn University as well as at other universities, by four Lynn faculty members with diverse research backgrounds: a sociologist, a linguist, a psychologist, and a historian. The interactive book covers the basics of research methods, including how to read scientific articles, how to set up a valid experiment, ethical considerations, and much more. It features interactive assignments that use iPad apps and widgets, videos created by students and faculty members, review quizzes to gauge understanding, and many examples of solid research methodology.
