This interactive, multi-touch book is an introduction to four of the languages taught during Lynn University’s three-week Language and Culture course. The four languages covered are Russian, German, Italian, and Dutch. Each chapter deals with a different language, and is divided into three sections corresponding to the three weeks of the course. These sections are further divided into four daily lessons each. Students are introduced to writing systems, basic grammar and vocabulary, and cultural notes about the countries where the languages are spoken. Each lesson ends with a practice dialogue to prepare students to speak the language from the start, and an interactive quiz. Course: DJLC 200
