Abstract
In the fast-paced landscape of academia, faculty members face increasing demands in both teaching and administrative duties. AI offers promising solutions to streamline these tasks, enhancing faculty well-being and improving their work-life balance. This presentation will draw from the Microsoft and LinkedIn 2024 Work Trend Index, which found that 83% of AI users experience greater work satisfaction and productivity, as well as recent graduate surveys indicating strong support for AI integration in educational settings. The session will present practical AI applications to alleviate faculty workloads, such as AI-driven assignment development, rubric creation, and case study generation. By implementing these tools, faculty can reclaim valuable time and engage in higher-level tasks, ultimately fostering a more enjoyable work experience. The presentation will include a step-by-step walkthrough of AI tools and strategies for everyday academic tasks, supported by evidence from the latest studies.
