Abstract
This case study focuses on the Miami International Airport. Various sources and materials are reviewed to discover the intricate history of the Miami International Airport, including how it originated from Pan American Airways. Various facts about the airport’s structure are discussed as well as information about the planning and management of the airport, airport operations management, economic activity, capital improvement, and problem-solving. Miami International Airport is heavily regulated to maintain a high degree of excellence. The vast amount of operations and management activity is explored thoroughly. The findings suggest that the Miami International Airport is effectively keeping track of its operating costs and revenue. The Miami International Airport will continue to improve its many programs regarding capital improvement and safety.
