Abstract
Sophia Stone, associate professor in the College of Arts and Sciences, gave two talks for the Boston Area Colloquium for Ancient Philosophy (BACAP) at Assumption University. The BACAP was founded in 1978 to invite global scholars to lecture to local philosophers and classicists to foster community dialogue.
Stone's first talk, presented during the undergraduate seminar, explored two geometry problems in Plato's Meno. Her second talk, an evening lecture for professors and scholars, was titled "Plato's Mathematics and His Theory of Forms."
