Abstract
Brands are increasingly monetizing their archives and vintage products to attract new customers and capitalize on nostalgia-driven trends, particularly among Gen-Z consumers.
Successfully leveraging archival strategies requires brands to invest in storytelling, work with authentic curators, and create engaging experiences that bridge the gap between past and present offerings.
While scaling vintage products presents challenges due to scarcity, brand-curated resale platforms and thoughtful re-releases can offer a significant “halo effect,” fostering deeper emotional connections with customers.
