Sustainable Citizenship: A Local and Global Approach

Abstract

Lynn University has a long-standing track record of connecting the SDGs and global learning through a variety of efforts, including the Citizenship Project, which has been an integral part of local and global engagement initiatives at Lynn for the past ten years. Other initiatives such as the Dialogues of Learning, the Ambassador Corps, and the Millennium Fellowship program complement these efforts and ensure that our students are aware of the SDGs and working toward their achievement. This session will tackle the successes and challenges of this approach to embedding the SDGs into the core academic curriculum of the university and other institutional initiatives.
