Abstract
Teaching emotionally charged subjects such as the death penalty can bring unique issues to the classroom. This 13th Annual Roundtable provides a forum in which to exchange ideas and best practices for teaching about capital punishment in criminal justice programs -- either as a stand-alone course or as part of courses in criminal law or criminal procedure. The roundtable explores how to handle assignments, online versus in-person teaching, addressing student opinions, and other topics of interest.
